Movember

Movember started with a simple idea, one that would go on to change the face of men’s health. In 2003, our Creative Director, Travis Garone, and his friend Luke Slattery joked about how moustaches had disappeared from mainstream culture. But when a friend’s mother was fundraising for breast cancer, inspiration struck. What if growing a moustache could spark conversations and raise awareness for men’s health?

What began as a playful challenge quickly became a global movement. The brand identity is as bold and timeless as the cause itself. A simple yet unmistakable mark that invites conversation and breaks down stigma. The original concept and its rules remain largely unchanged, proof of its enduring power and universal appeal.

At its heart, Movember is about storytelling. By sharing real experiences, it creates deep emotional connections, encouraging men to speak up, seek support, and take action. What started as a chat between friends is now a worldwide movement, changing lives one moustache at a time.
